MATERIALS AND METHODS

To make this website I have used the following programs:

  • Image J: program that I have used to calculate the areas of the peaks.
  • Rextester: program that I have used to obtain a graph of the Cepheids.
  • Mapper.js: 
  • JS9: software that I have used to analyze and obtain the graphics of the different objects in the sky.
  • Image map: generator that I have used to place the different objects in the sky in an image map of the constellation of cepheus.
  • Excel: Spreadsheet that I have used to put data on the Cepheids and where I have obtained a graph and a formula
  • Google Scholar: search engine that I have used to find documents and articles of other scientists to be able to compare my results with those of other scientists.
  • Intranet de Harvard: website that I have used to find each of the objects in the sky and much more information to do my project.
  • Neocities: web hosting service that I have used to upload my website.
  • The Open Supernova Catalog: supernova catalog that I used to find information about SN1917A supernovae.
  • Wikipedia: Free encyclopedia where I have found information about this project.
  • The Sky Live: website where I found the image of the constellation of Cepheus.
  • ezyZip: zip file format that I have used to compress files.
  • Laboratory of exoplanets: laboratory where I have made a photo with an arizona telescope to an object in the sky.
  • International Astronomical Union: I have used this website to find a picture of Cepheus and look up its coordinates.
  • Nasa Exoplanet Archieve: I have used this website to search for information on exoplanet GJ4276.
  • Exoplanet.eu: encyclopedia that I used to look up information about exoplanet GJ4276.
  • Nasa Space Place: website that I have used to search for information on different objects in the sky. (what they are, how they are created, ...).
  • Telescopius: website that I have used to find information about some of the sky objects (declination, right ascension, ...)
